The following is a collection that makes LibreOffice Draw feel more like Microsoft Visio. 

To begin with is changing the default layout:

Download and Import the Template: MyVisio.otg

Set this Template as the default

1. Open Draw
2. Go to File > Templates > Manage Templates
3. Locate "MyVisio"
4. Right-Click on MyVisio
5. Select "Set as Default"


Visio has the concept of image/icon sets called Stencils

In Libre Draw these stencils are called Galleries

I have bundled some image sets I commonly use as LibreOffice Extensions
